This page covers orders and catering booked directly with Naalvar Kitchen on WhatsApp or by phone. When Swiggy or Zomato start taking our orders, those apps' own cancel and refund rules will apply to orders placed there.
Cancelling a meal
Message the orders line (+91 97898 61829) as soon as your plans change. If we have not started cooking, we will usually cancel at no charge.
Biryani, grills, and packed meals often go on the fire soon after we confirm. Once cooking or packing has started, we cannot send that food to someone else, so the order still needs to be paid.
If we have to cancel
If we run out of a dish, cannot staff a delivery, or cannot reach your area because of weather or a road closure, we will tell you. You will not be charged, or we will refund what you already paid.
Wrong, missing, or poor food
WhatsApp us with the order time and a clear photo if something is missing, swapped, undercooked, spoiled, or not what we confirmed. Write while the issue is still easy to see. We will look at it and may remake the dish, replace an item, take something off the bill, or refund part or all of the order.
We cannot fairly judge a complaint that arrives long after delivery or after most of the food is gone, unless the problem would not have been obvious at once.
Delivery problems
If the address was wrong, the gate was locked, or the phone was unreachable, a refund may not be available. If the delay or failed drop is on us, we will make it right: another delivery, a remake, or money back, depending on what still makes sense.
Catering
Event orders need shopping and prep ahead of time. Cancel or cut guest count in writing on WhatsApp. If we have already bought ingredients or started work for your date, we will deduct those costs from any refund.
Your quote will include any extra cutoff for that booking. That written quote sits on top of this page.
How money comes back
We do not take cards on this website. Approved refunds go back the way you paid, usually UPI, or as kitchen credit on a later order if we both agree. The time it takes depends on that method, not on this site.
